Arrangements made for contact

Any arrangement for contact will be discussed at the placement agreement meeting.

We will facilitate, in any appropriate way we can, planned visits by family members. Staff appreciate the importance of this contact for both children and their families and we will aim to offer a welcoming atmosphere and appropriate privacy.

Every opportunity will be taken to encourage the family links and to help parents re-establish contact with their children.

All children have access to a payphone in a private area and are given additional allowances so that they may contact family and friends.
